Hello and welcome to live coverage of Thomas Tuchel’s pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash at Burnley.

The Blues make the long trip to Turf Moor in a bid to cement their place in the top four, but events off the pitch continue to take center stage.

It was announced on Wednesday that Roman Abramovich intends to sell the club and a Swiss-American consortium including billionaire duo Todd Boehly and Hansjorg Wyss are believed to be favorites to buy the club.

Tuchel spoke honestly about the situation following the FA Cup win over Luton Town in midweek but will certainly be faced with further questions on the subject when he faces the media today.

There will also be football to discuss and the Chelsea head coach is expected to reveal the latest team news.

Several players were ruled out against Luton due to injuries and fitness issues but Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah and Hakim Ziyech were back in training today.
